Pessac-LĂ©ognan, Bordeaux/France
Original filling quantity: 0.75 l

This lot comprises one bottle of 1973 vintage Château Haut-Brion from the Pessac-Léognan appellation in Bordeaux.
The appellation is part of the Graves wine region, south of the city of Bordeaux. Vines thrive on the Ice Age gravel terraces, producing first-class mineral red wines made up of Cabernet Sauvignon and some Merlot and Cabernet franc. Aside from Château Haut-Brion, the region’s iconic Premier cru classé, Pape-Clément and Smith Haut-Lafite are the leading wine growers of the region. The appellation is also the home of intense, powerful dry white wines. Cuvées made from Sauvignon blanc and Sémillon are aromatic and structurally characterized by Sauvignon blanc.
The fill level is low (< 8 cm). The label is soiled; the capsule is in perfect condition.
