Chi dragon ears bronze censer have arched handles to symbolize the body of dragons. They were deeply loved by Xuande Emperor of the Ming Dynasty who would often put this kind of bronze censer in his study, as well as various places. The lines of the bronze censer are clean and neat, while the copper is pure and polished. The skin exudes a shiny luster of deep maroon. "Made in the Xuande Period" is carved on the bottom, which is the same as the one under the seat. The valuableness of this bronze censer lies in the fact that it retains its original bronze seat.
