Description

A selection of seven novelty items, to include an Edwardian silver pencil holder and attached match box, a mid 20th century silver pen and pencil, together with an enamel trinket box, a pair of cased spectacles and two further items. Four with hallmarks for London and Birmingham. Total weight, excluding spectacles and chain, 84.9gms.

Condition

Overall condition fair. Some surface wear, scratches and tarnishing in keeping with age/general wear. Light indentations to the pencil holder. Dents to the match box. Pen currently with no internal fittings. Pencil currently with retractable lead. Paste fob stamped sterling silver. Pastes in fair condition with significant scratches. Enamel trinket box stamped 800, some wear to the yellow metal surface. Half Albert chain with wear to the white metal surfaces, central loop possibly stamped Deponirt. Watch key differs in hue to the chain. Some green staining to the spectacles. Additional drill hole to one lens.
