A rare Cobalt George Jones Majolica Strawberry Server and Spoon c.1877, shape 3546, of lozenge form with a small oval well at each end fitted with a sugar bowl or cream jug, all molded with fruiting strawberry plants against a ground glazed in cobalt blue, the double-strap handle glazed in brown and arching above the central dish, the sugar bowl and the cream jug each with a twisted-branch handle and glazed on the interior in turquoise, 14 ½”l, 5 ½”h.
