Mary Rupp, noted Michigan artist was a pen pal to Hank Greenberg during World War 2; The 22" x 15" drawing, done by Mary Rupp at the age of 14, is signed lower right by the artist and Greenberg inscribed: "To Mary Rupp My Best Wishes Hank Greenberg, Sept. 29, 1939". Autographed photo of Hank in his baseball uniform and inscribed: "To Mary Rupp inscribed: "To Mary With My Sincere Good Wishes, Hank Greenberg, Sept 23, 1945", 10" x 8". Mary Rupp signed drawing of Detroit Tiger; signed by the entire 1940 team. Two letters to Mary from Hank Dated 1941 & 1944 while in the military service along with a photo with Greenberg in his army air corp uniform and inscribed: "To Mary, My Best Always, Lt. Hank Greenberg, Sept 3, 1942", in black fountain pen. Mary Rupp went on to become a well known Detroit female artist.
