A GROUP OF TWO ITALIAN GLAZED EARTHENWARE PIRATE FIGURES DESIGNED BY PROFESSOR EUGENIO PATTARINO, FLORENCE, 1960S, comprising a pirate wearing an open doublet, breeches, tall turned over buckled black boots, damask patterned cape, and head scarf, with a a blunderbuss and saber tied at his waist, holding a wine keg aloft and drinking from it, together with a pirate of similar dress wearing a tri-corner black hat, eating an apple, with basket of fruit between his feet, both marked gilt to the back ITALY, one with import label for Koscherak Brothers of New York.
