A SINO-TIBETAN GILT BRONZE FIGURE OF JAMBHALA, 20TH CENTURY, also known as Kubera in the Hindu faith, both are worshiped as the god of wealth, with this model heavily cast in a seated lalitasana position on a beaded lotus throne while holding a lemon in his right hand opposite a jewel spitting mongoose in his left hand and detailed with jewelry throughout with a celestial scarf billowing above the shoulders, beneath a smiling expression within curled facial hair and surmounted by a diadem enclosing a cold painted blue hairstyle. Resealed with engraved Buddhistic symbol on underside. Height: 6"
