Description
A PAIR OF VICTORIAN CARVED MAHOGANY AND UPHOLSTERED SIDE CHAIRS, THIRD-QUARTER 19TH CENTURY, in the Rococo Revival taste and each having an acanthus wrapped triple arched crest rail above a central shaped and padded splat ending in a stylized rocaille pendant enclosed by "c" scrolls, flanked by conforming stiles on a padded bow-front seat over a serpentine seat rail, raised on cabriole legs continuing to foliate carved scrolling feet, covered throughout in white patterned upholstery. Height: 34" Width: 18 3/4" Depth: 17"
