Interesting image of three young men in front of a shrine with a large colorful figure of man with a flowing black beard. He wears an exotic green robe patterned with dragons, and a blue brocade headdress. One youth holds a bow and arrow, leaning forward as he looks at the duck held by his companion, an arrow through the bird's chest. All of them seem sober, the fellow at right frowning unhappily as he looks over his friend's shoulder. Two large mochi cakes are placed on an offering tray in front of the figure, and a candle burns in a candlestick at right. Outside, three horses wait in the pasture, grazing and resting. An intriguing subject, wonderfully colored and detailed.
