The show consisted of oversized charcoal drawings depicting waves...large, vicious yet graceful, smoothed brushstrokes in shades of black and white. This print is after one of the drawings, 'Untitled (Whale Beach, Australia, 01/23/99), 2000, charcoal on mounted paper, 42 x 102 inches (106.7 x 259.1 cm).'
This is a color screenprint measuring at 1/3 of its original charcoals size at 15 3/8 x 40 inches (39 x101 1/2 cm) and was printed in an edition of 103 by Brand X Edition in New York and published by Lincoln Center.
