Description

Pair of French Faience Half Planters, 18th c., by Veuve Perrin, the sides with hand painted tavern scenes, H.- 5 1/4 in., W.- 9 1/4 in., D.- 5 1/4 in.

Condition

Condition consistent with age and use. Losses to gilt noted around top rims. Rims, backs, and interiors with scattered spots of brown discoloration. One rim with spots of brown residue along the left side. Slight crackling to glaze is noted in a few areas. A lovely pair.
