Description

This painting is a beautiful example of how the Tonalist movement influenced American artists in the late 1800's. The painting is initialed "H.D.F." but I have been unable to identify what name the initials represent. The painting is on the original stretchers measuring 12" x 20". It has been cleaned and coated with an archival non-yellowing varnish, and installed in a new, custom made, gold metal-leafed frame.
