French Impressionist master painter Paul Signac (1863-1935) created this etching with aquatint near the end of his career. It is recorded as his last etching, and is titled Pont Des Arts. Originally produced in an edition of 250, this impression is a restrike, as noted on the label on the back of the frame. Still, it bears the marks and signature Signac made on the etching plate, and is not a reproduction. The etching's paper has some discoloration from light-strike (hanging in the sun) but otherwise the image area is excellent. It is framed in new acid-neutral mats: grey over-mat with a gold inner mat. The frame is circa 1980 and original to the print. Plate size is 5"x7.5", frame size is 11"x14" Item ID: 4156AUC-1
