Pair of early 1900's Italian antique white marble lamps with grey veining. Ornate brass work at base as well as brass pedestal. Finely cut detailing in the quality marble with expert workmanship. The pair extremely weighty as solid. Have been rewired and the older plugs reattached for authenticity to the period. New taupe horizontally pleated shades give a beautiful contrast to the marble and when lit produce a soft golden glow. Rectangular tapered shades with a more narrow width to fit nicely against a wall if used on tables or chests yet work just as well out in a room. Antique white egg shaped finials.
