This Venetian incunabula was printed in the printing workshop of Simon Bevilaqua. It contains the important treatise ‘De regime principum’ by Giles of Rome written for and dedicated to his pupil the French King Philip IV, which attained great influence in the Middle Ages. Generally, Aegidius' writings covered a wide range of topics from scholastic philosophy to theology. For example, he made several commentaries on Aristotel's works and treatises on the bible. This incunabula is in a very good state of preservation. The unfilled blank initial spaces add to the incunabula's 'immaculate' character.
