The ‘Neuester Zeitungs-Atlas für Alte und Neue Erdkunde‘ was published by J. Meyer, the founder and head of the Bibliographical Institute. Steel engravings, print and publishing was conducted by the Bibliographical Institute of Hildburghausen, Amsterdam and New York. The atlas contains nine maps: Orbis Veteribus notus, Imperium Romanum, Graecia antiqua, Hispania, Italia media et superior, Italia inferior, Asia minor, Palaestina and Germaniae et Galliae pars.



Condition

The cover is abraded and slightly bent. The paper is partly browned. The maps are undamaged, along the margins are smaller to larger stains and foxing. The dimensions are 25 x 30 cm.
