Elliott Erwitt (born in 1928)

Elliott Erwitt was born in Paris on 26th July 1928. He is an American photographer and has been working as the president and vice-president of the popular photo agency Magnum Photos. Magnum Photos was founded in 1947 by a group of photographers, amongst others Henri Cartier Bresson and Robert Capa. The photographers had the ambition to be independent vis-à-vis the big magazines and photo agencies.
