The set of glasses under the brand name Superfest (later: Ceverit), since 1980 in the production at the Kombinatbetrieb VEB Sachsenglas Schwepnitz, designed by Paul Bittner, Fritz Keuchel and Tilo Poitz, was certified as ‘GUTES DESIGN’ in 1980

Paul Bittner, Fritz Keuchel and Tilo Poitz designed as a general collective the ‘Superfest’ glass. The glass of three sizes are stackable – according to the sense of the design principle of the GDR. The glasses were manufactured at the Kombinatbetrieb VEB Sachsenglas Schwepnitz. The glasses were certified as GUTES DESIGN by the GDR in 1980.



There are 140 glasses in total. The glasses are marked at the rim with ‘Superfest’ and the corresponding indication of measurements in etched engraving. They are in very good condition with partly small bumps at the rims. The glasses have got the sizes 0.5, 0.25 and 0.1 l. They are 16.4, 13.2 and 10.7 cm in height. (tm)
