This work was made by the artist Raffael Rheinsberg, created in 1991. Rheinsberg deals in his artistic work with remains of material that he collects, creating his work of art by placing them precisely side by side. Here, the artist was collecting boxes of the GDR-cigarette brand ‘Sprachlos’, a rather cheap brand that provided inspiration for many word games. What is interesting here, is the interaction of industrial materials and aesthetic form.
The wall object is in good condition with slight signs of age and wear. The dimensions are 262 x 168 cm.
