The outer border framed in white enamel around a translucent blue enamel field over a moire engine-turned ground. At top, set with crossed arrows mounted with a red cabochon ruby. The central white clock face with black Arabic chapters within a white enameled border.Tthe verso mounted with hinged silver strut and with engraved dedicatory inscription, "To Edward. From Rupert & Gwenny, Xmas 1909." Hallmarked St. Petersburg, 1908-1917, Cyrillic maker's initials "IB" for Ivan Britzen, and 88 silver standard. Height 3.25 inches (8.3 cm).
