Paul Evans (1931-1987)
Manufactured by Paul Evans Studio for Directional
Wood patchwork “Cityscape” collection
24 ¼” x 30” x 30” (height x width x depth)
Paul Evans primarily worked in metal and, in fact, the majority of the cityscape collection was created in patchwork metals. This table, however, is composed completely of walnut square and rectangular patches. This table showcases the beautiful walnut grain. Modern in form and construction, the warm wood surface lends the table a somewhat organic feel.
The table is in fairly good condition with some losses to veneer along the edge of two legs and along with surface scratches. It measures 24 ¼” x 30” x 30” (height x width x depth).
