Tall blown glass bottle form vase with graffito technique and gold aventurine inclusions

Very good condition
This Barovier & Toso green glass vase features white controlled feathering and gold aventurine inclusions. The "graffito" technique employed in the making of this vase is typical of Barovier & Toso’s work in the early 1950s.
The vase is in excellent condition. It is an unusually large example and it measures 13 ¾” high.
Barovier & Toso
Barovier & Toso is an Italian glass company that dates back to the 13th century and is currently based in the Palazzo Contarini in Murano, Italy. Originally just the Barovier family, the company merged with the Toso family in 1936. Specializing in Venetian glass, including mother-of-pearl glass, crystalline glass and gold-free cornelian red glass, Barovier & Toso produces traditional drinking vessels, Venetian chandelier and glass art. The chief designer, Ercole Barovier, designed many well-known glass designs, including Brillantati, Zebrati, Crepuscolo, Cordonato d’Oro and Acanto.
