Description
A French silver gilt campaign set in a case, the beaker by Armand-Camille Tonnellier, 1st standard mark for Paris 1819-1838, the knife, fork and spoon by Joseph-Baptiste Fuchs, Paris, 1st standard marks for 1838-1972, the case by Taulin, 131 Palais Royal, the twin bladed knife, fork and spoon each folding with mother of pearl handles terminating in anthemion and scrolls, with a steel peg and worm corkscrew and a circular tapered mother of pearl salt and pepper container, all in a leather covered fitment sitting in the beaker, the ten sided case in padouk with ivory lines, all engraved with an unidentified crest and E d'E or C d'C, 15cm (6in) high Tonnellier registered his mark in 1838. Fuchs registered his mark in 1833 and traded from 29 rue Michel le Comte.
