A 19th Century gilt-metal mounted ruby glass casket of Moser type, probably French, of canted rectangular form, with shaped ropetwist cast handles issuing from a beaded rim with foliate engraving, above a shaped and similarly engraved escutcheon, raised on C-scroll cast and pierced feet, issuing from a beaded band. 11.5cm by 13.5cm by 8.5cm (at the extremities)
