A pair of garnet, seed pearl and diamond earrings, circa 1870-1880, the pear cabochon cut collet set garnet with two old cut collet set diamond highlights to the bottom of an engraved detail mount, suspending on an articulated link from a square shaped mount with scalloped edge detail, set to the centre with an old cut claw set diamond, to the bottom of a rectangular mount set to the centre with four seed pearls, in turn suspending on an articulated link from a round cabochon cut collet set garnet to the bottom of a shepherds hook fitting. Length approx 5cm. Total weight approx 11gms.
