BUSK WHALE BONE UNITY AND LOVE

Description: Very fine engraved and polychrome busk CA 1840. Engraved with an American eagle holding an American flag in it's beak, the Dove of Peace with an olive brance, below a sawtooth border with a ship in full sail. The scroll enclosed legend "Remember me when far away ", an eagle with a calliope and her lyre, an angel of mercy holds the ensigns of Unity and Love, on the bottom a pot of flowers on a table.
