Description
Greek colony of Apulia, southeastern Italy, but found in Turkey. Ca 325 BCE. Miniature pottery pouring vessel - oinochoe - in blackware with painted palmettes in a style known as Xenon-ware. Several theories abound on the function of such miniatures.
