Athens, Greece, 5th to early 4th century BCE. A very finely potted blackware wine cup, with very thin walls, short flat foot and twin horizontal handles. 2.63"W x 5.38"H (6.67 W x 13.65 H cm)
Provenance: Ex-Collection of William Dale. Mr. Dale was a career diplomat stationed in Turkey in the early 1960's and acquired a vast collection of Greek, Roman and Near-Eastern treasures.
