Greece, Near East, Hellenistic Period, 3rd century BCE - 2nd century BCE. A collection of three Hellenistic bowls, finely built forms on delicate feet created on the potter's wheel. Beautiful markings from slip application on all three. In a word, exquisite! Measurements for largest bowl. 2.25"W x 5.50"H (5.72 W x 13.97 H cm)
Provenance: Ex-Private collection of William Dale, a career diplomat stationed in Turkey in the early 1960's, who acquired a vast collection of Greek, Roman and Near-Eastern treasures during his tenure.

Condition
Largest bowl repaired from approximately a half dozen pieces. Small losses to rim and base of medium sized bowl. Smallest bowl has tiny nick to foot. Overall a nice group in good to excellent condition.
