Roman Empire, Ca 2nd to 3rd century CE. Beautiful glass unguent with sack-shaped base, long cylindrical neck and rolled rim, now with a lovely silvery iridescence throughout. 5.13"W x 2.25"H (13.02 W x 5.72 H cm)
Provenance: Ex-Collection of William Dale. Mr. Dale was a career diplomat stationed in Turkey in the early 1960's and acquired a vast collection of Greek, Roman and Near-Eastern treasures.
