IVORY SCRIMSHAW MIRROR US CONSTITUTION

Description: Matched pair of ivory tusks mounted on a black base with brass holders and collars afixed to a mirror. The tusks are engraved with portraits of six captains of the USF Constitution. Right tusk depicts Chas. Stewart, Wm. Bainbridge and Isaac Hull. The left depicts John Rogers, Edw. Preble and Sam Nickerson. Circa mid 20th Century.
Condition : Very good condition but for two small cracks.
Size : 20" tall, by 16" wide and 9 3/4" deep.
