Title: Bather in the Harbour, 1933
Technique: Original Hand Signed and Dedicated Lithograph on BFK Rives paper
Paper Size: 49.5 x 64 cm / 19.5 x 25.2 in
Image Size: 34 x 44 cm / 13.4 x 17.3 in
Additional Information: This Lithograph is hand signed in pencil "Raoul Dufy" in the lower right margin.
It is also dedicated in pencil "eprouve pour Madame Duchatel" (proof for Mrs Duchatel) on the lower left margins.
This lithograph is one of the six lithographs that were included in the album "La Mer" (the Sea).
It was printed in an edition of 33 impressions plus a few proofs. Our impression is one of the printer's proofs.
The work is dedicated to Mrs Duchantel from the printing studio "Imprimerie Duchatel" which printed many of Dufy lithographs of the 1920's and 1930's

Ex-collection Henri M. Petiet (French 1894-1980), the important Parisian collector, publisher and dealer in prints and drawings of such artists as Bonnard, Vuillard, Luce, Signac, Matisse, Rouault, Villon, Vlaminck, Dufy, Picasso, Laurencin, with his collection stamp (the initials 'H.M.P.' in an oval) in black ink, verso.
Condition: Very Good condition. Foxing marks along right margin. Some handling creases.
