Additional Information: The work is hand signed in pencil by the artist "Miro" in the lower right margin and hand numbered in pencil "8/125" in the lower left margin.
The work was printed by Fequet and Baudier in Paris and published by Cramer in 1958 in a limited edition of 125 hand signed and numbered impressions.
It was created to accompanay the exhibition of Paul Eluard and Joan Miro important book "A Toute Epreuve" in the Galerie Berggruen in Paris.
Our impression comes from the deluxe edition of 125 hand signed impressions. There was a later edition printed by Mourlot based on this woodcut but pinted as a lithographic poster with text.
