Additional Information: This is an original Beautiful pencil drawing by the famous Hungarian artist.
The work is hand signed in pencil by the artist at the right lower corner "Munkácsy".
Provenance:The work was part of a large Munkácsy collection in Germany.
The work was physically examined by Mrs. Boros Judit who is an Art historian specializing in 19th century Hungarian Art and in particular the works of Munkacsy .
The work is accompanied by the photo certificate of authenticity from Mrs. Judit Boros.
The certificate is hand written on the back side of a large photograph of the drawing and is signed and stamped by Mrs. Boros. (see image).
It reads as follows:
"I Judit Boros art Hisorian, specializing on 19th century Hungarian Art,
Confirm that this is a photo of an authentic pencil drawing by Mihaly MUNKACSY (1884-1900),
Prepared for the composition: "Christ from Pilatos".
Dimension: 204 on 264 mm
Signed.

Condition: Generaly in good conditon.
some folds short tears and creases in the left edge of the paper. And glue tape remains in the left back side edges.
