Woven in a rural home, this kilim is from Bessarabia, a region that belonged to the Russian Empire from 1812 to 1917. Coarsely woven, it displays a simple floral design of flowering twigs in pastel shades arranged into offset rows, combined with a rectilinear garland decorated with blossoms in the black border. - Minimal signs of wear, good condition.
