Rossi/Parker 1990s Ultra Rare "Artists Proof" Fountain Pen 

Here offered, is a small group of highest quality, custom crafted, fountain pens, by the now quite famous Paul Rossi! These pens represent unique design and perfection, not found in most of the current examples of pens with semi-precious and precious metal overlay and inlay ornamentation. Wm. Weakley of Power Pens was quick to recognize the exceptional Rossi talent, and his appreciation of this talent led him to acquire several Unique, Artist Proof, and #1 Pens, during the budding, 1990s years of Rossi's creativity. The bulk of these pens found their way into Dr. Nash's collection, and are among the Rossi pens we offer. An early tribute to Rossi's work was an article in Pen World, by Kathleen Kelly, "Artistry", and pictures of several of our pens. A copy of this enlightening article will accompany each pen. 
 
Wow! Here offered is a real Rossi gem! From the budding years of this master  artisans career, comes this modified Parker Duofold, c/c fill, fountain pen with cap and barrel in stark contrasting "white-ivory" acrylic to his "scroll and freeform" Celtic influenced, sterling silver overlay. The tassie is crowned with a polished amethyst cabochon, set in a sterling silver bezel. The clip is a frosted braid twist, lying on the fully overlay decorated cap. Both cap and barrel show, in frosted, polished and engraved sterling silver overlay, a freeform sterling wire design with both cap and barrel hosting a frosted Celtic bird with a Ruby cabochon eye. The upper barrel band bears the familiar "P 925 R," Paul Rossi mark, as well as a hand engraved "A-P" (Artist's Proof) mark! It is fitted with a Parker "Arrow Duofold" 18k solid two-tone gold nib, and is offered in a wooden special order box with a copy of Pen World's Paul Rossi article.
