Manufacturer: JNF, Fürth
Model M 300
Functioning clockwork mechanism!
Length: 24 cm
This bright red limousine is a real eye-catcher! The model is based on the Type 300 Mercedes, which was unofficially named after its most famous passenger, the former German chancellor Konrad Adenauer. Like the original this miniature version is especially charming due to its elegant design. The inside is lithographed with a beautiful plaid pattern and the dashboard shows in detailed fashion the speed-indicator and radio.
The car is in good condition. There are slight abrasions to the coat and small scratches. The clockwork mechanism works but the car has some starting difficulties. The wind-up key is not included. The underneath is embossed “Made in Western Germany”. Above the rear bumper there is an on/off switch. The car measures 24 cm in length.
JNF
In 1920 Johann Neuhierl founded the tin toy factory JNF in Furth. In the early 50s the company produced and marketed mainly cars with different equipment components in variable price categories. From 1956 they also manufactured plastic cars. A breakthrough was made in 1963 with the production of the famous Carrera slot car tracks. Today Carrera is the market-leading producer of slot cars.
