A LYON & HEALEY HARP. 34 string painted wood harp bears a serial number 2304 70" x 36" x 20"

This harp does is not in working order. This piece was not inspected by a harp expert. This piece has a medium amount of overall grime/dust build up. There is a light - medium amount of gilt loss to the gilt areas from age and wear. There is a significant mount of swelling splits to the wood on the sound board, no visible cracking, and board is stable on the inside. The right board is pulling away from the spine and there is a significant crack at this seam, this crack is about 2.5' long, and the gap is up to .5" wide, there are nails visible on the inside beneath the crack. Two of the string mounting pins on the upper part of the inner spine are missing. The outer wood has some light scuffing and a 1.5" x .5" thick surface scratch near the top. There is light rusting to the metal pins. The strings have significant wear. This harp is stamped with a 1915 patent.
