Two Loetz Papillon or Phaenomen Iridescent Art Glass Vases. The first, a Creta Papillon topaz colored ovoid vase with an all over oil spot design ending in a flaring rim, the body overlaid with a large silver stylized entwining flower, with silver rim and foot band; the second, a Phaenomen pinched ovoid form in topaz color with combed iridescent silver lustre with three red striped tasseled shell medallions, both etched in base "Loetz", Papillon silver overlay vase with the numbered "141", the Phaenomen marked "Loetz Austria". Height of larger 4 1/2 inches (11.4 cm).
