A collection of Roman bronze implements including a strigil. Lot includes a nice Roman bronze strigil, c. 1st - 2nd Century AD, four bronze fibulae or brooches ranging from the 1st Century BC to the 3rd Century AD, some Roman iron arrowheads, a Roman bronze cosmetic or medicinal spoon and a bronze divider. The strigil measures 9 in (22.9 cm) in length and all of the items or in very nice condition. All the items are individually mounted on rectangular wood cards with identification labels and in some cases line drawing of the objects a la Hattatt. They are all neatly fitting in a rectangular wood display box. Ex Estate of Harold Whitaker.
