Description
A lovely Greek red-figure kylix with swan, Apulia, c. 340 - 325 BC, the bird is bordered by concentric circles and a wide laurel band, other bands of laurel on the outside of the rim on either side. A very nice example of this popular Xenon-style type! H: 1 1/8 in (5.5cm), D: 7 ¼ in (18.4cm). Intact and well-preserved. From the Collection of Mrs. Dorothy Edwards, Atlanta, Georgia.
