Distinctive Coffee Table with stand in form of a Bonsai tree
This couch table was presumably designed by the Belgian designer Willy Daro in the 1970s. The appealing stand has the typical shape of a Japanese Bonsai tree. The table is made of bronze. Terrain base and foliage in gold, the trunk with black patina. The table plate is made of glass tinted in smoky brown. Table with bronze stand in form of animals, plants or figures are quite popular in the 1960s and 70s, of which creations by Jacques Duval-Brasseur deliver proof.
The table is 40.5 cm high and 107 x 75 cm wide and deep respectively. It is in very good condition with discernible traces of use and aging.
