Andrej Jakabs glass works are usually characterized by their precise prism shape. By refraction and reflection of light at the edges as well as the transparency and embedded air bubbles, the objects have a great aesthetic appeal. Andrej Jakab (b. 1950)
Andrej Jakab was born 1950 in Bratislava. From 1965-69 he studied at the School of Electrical Engineering, continuing his studies from 1969-72 at the Institute of the Technical University in Bratislava. Since 1989 he is working as a freelance artist.
