Century Road Club of America and Palmer Tires medal; consisting of a 1 1/16" circular "Century Road Club America" pin with black enamel club logo (100 inside a C) at center, over a gilt rectangular metal link advertising "Palmer Tires" in black enamel, from which are suspended 26 gilt metal rectangular links (24 awarded for 100-mile rides with dates ranging from September 2, 1896, to October 31, 1897; one awarded for a 200-mile ride dated October 10, 1897; one with engraved name "O. Frischkorn'); good condition with some loss to black enamel on "Palmer Tires", one wire connector link missing
