This gown has been cleaned professionally prior to coming to Susanin's. There is a light dust build up throughout from storage. There is a light discoloration and fade throughout due to age and possibly dust/sunlight exposure (this includes the linings and base skirt taffeta). The beadwork and embellishments are in good condition for the age of the dress and are in tact and complete. There is a 4'' long bottom area of the hem that has come unraveled, but other than that, all the hems appear to be in tact (this could be re-sewn easily). There is an area on the left chest that is stained and on the right skirt, in a light brown/orangish color. It isn't obvious, but is noticeable in looking for an imperfections on the dress. There is some light loosening of the threads throughout the dress and on the chiffon on the body, as the material is layered and applied in various areas. There are no holes or other condition issues noticeable at the time of this condition report.
