(Printed on verso of title: “…Einer Beschrankten Auflage./ Sein Inhalt Nicht Zur Veroffeentlichung Bestimmt” or “Beschrankten Edition/Not for Publication/Christmas 1941.” The State-owned Reichswerke was an industrial conglomerate of Nazi Germany, established in 1937 to extract and process iron ores from the city of Salzgitter. Goring supervised the Reichswerke, which absorbed similar industries in Austria, Czechoslovakia, France, Poland and the Soviet Union, becoming the largest company in Europe by the end of 1941. With historic photographs and a map, this classified publication documented the iron works at Salzgitter and the industrial history of Nazi Germany. Number “25” on verso of title, but the map is similarly numbered “251.” 4to. ¼ cloth and orange paper-covered boards with red design on front cover. Cloth frayed particularly along joints and spine ends. Foxing to endpapers, folding map, and first/last pages. Folding map toned. “Czechoslovakian Secret Information Service” rubber stamp on eps and title. Photo-illustrated.
