Pre-Columbian, North Coast Peru, ca. 100-600 CE. Cloth pin made out of a tropical hardwood with a seated monkey finial. Monkey is eating a cherimoya fruit inlaid with turquoise stones. A beautiful and great work of art! 9"H. Custom museum-quality stand.
