Ogden was a Canadian explorer who took many expeditions throughout the American West, including Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Utah, Idaho and Wyoming. The Hudson 's Bay Record Society publication No. XIII. Inscribed by one author and scholar to another on the front free endpaper: "To Charles L. Camp, To whom a book of this special kind belongs by natural right. Dale L. Morgan."
