Arik Brauer was born in 1929 in Vienna, Austria and spent most of his youth underground hiding from the Nazi's in WWII due to his religious beliefs. After the war, he studied at the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts under Professor Albert Paris Gutersloh. A member of the Vienna School of Fantastic Realism, Brauer's art reveals the hand of a modern master using soft and vibrant colors together. Site: 9.5"H x 8.5"W; Frame: 16.5"H x 15"W. Circa - 1965.
