Description
Fine Japanese redware. Bottle-Shape vase. Hand tooled and crafted. Fine decorations of a dragon around the neck, high detail. Remnants of gold wash around dragons. Signed and marked on the bottom by the HOYEI Maker. The other mark stands for DAI NIPPON / NIHON (Great Japan). Done in the ceramic center of Tokoname, just South of Nagoya. Japan. Circa late 19th/very early 20th Century. Measurements: Approx. 9.5" high x 4.25" widest diameter
